Elephant

I was in a public place with Veronique (girlfriend) and some other people whom I didn't know. It looked like an alcove in some big building. There were two girls in the same alcove as ours. One of them was blonde. Both looked like my age. I didn't know who they were. They stumbled upon a pair of Ver's panties and were very much amused by it. They were black panties with an image of an elephant in front. I asked Ver if it was OK for the girls to look at it and play around with it and she said that she wasn't fussed.

At one point I was hugging Ver from behind. At that point, the blonde girl hugged me from behind. I was locked in between Ver and this blonde girl whom I didn't know. I felt very awkward and I was starting to dread the moment I had got myself into this place.

Suddenly the lights went out and a movie started showing on a big screen in front of us. The place changed into a sort of cinema. There was a big group of people watching the movie and we were at the back of this group. The film was an animated feature film by some famous "alt" director (like David Lynch). It was all drawn in old-Disney style (think Bambi). One scene involved a small elephant on a lawn in front of a dog kennel. He was wearing a small hat and he was playing around with various trinkets using his trunk. Little elves were dancing around in front of him. The scene was very bright and it conveyed a feeling of happiness yet there was something disturbing about it.

At that point I noticed that most of my friends were there, including Anita. I could see her in the dark next to Ver. She walked up to us and said that our group was ordered to leave the premises by the ushers since we were making too much noise. My group of friends started walking out of the cinema. I realized that the cinema was actually a bus. The film was being shown in a big, yellow bus which was driving through Edinburgh near the sea on a cliff. Ver and all my friends left the bus but I was still there. I was taking my time in putting on my jacket and scarf. I was looking under the seats to make sure that I didn't leave anything behind.

One of the ushers shouted at me from the other end of the crowd (bus) to get out of the bus. I beckoned him beside me and told him in a quiet and composed voice that he shouldn't shout like that since there were people who were trying to watch a movie. Then I told him that I was just picking up my stuff and that I was on my way out. He exclaimed that the bus had already arrived in Bread Street and I was still on the bus.
